When it is difficult to see a physician, a small concern can be easy to put aside. An employee carries on, works around how they are feeling and hopes it will pass. What might have taken one timely conversation can eventually ask far more of their time and attention.
Across a team, those private concerns can quietly become disrupted days and unexpected absences. The employee carries the worry. The organisation feels the interruption. An existing benefits plan may offer valuable support. Yet, it doesn't always make primary care easier to reach.
Stem Health’s Team Membership fills that gap, giving employees timely access to care and thoughtful coordination when they need it.
Team membership is designed for employer-sponsored groups. Each member receives:
● Same or next-day appointments with a Stem physician, in person, by video or by phone
● Book-ahead primary care appointments for care that can be planned in advance
● After-hours nurse support, prescription renewals and care coordination
● A personal Health Story that keeps their care connected over time
Additionally, Foundation and Signature memberships are also available to corporate leadership or employees who would like a dedicated physician and a more personal depth of care.
A workday should not have to unravel around a health concern. With prompt access to a physician, an employee can receive guidance sooner and choose the kind of appointment that fits most naturally into their day.
Stem also looks after what happens beyond the appointment. Referrals are arranged, results are followed and next steps are kept moving. The employee remains informed without having to spend their day making calls or wondering what still needs attention.
It is care designed to ask less of the person receiving it.
Care can only feel supportive when it also feels private.
An employee’s conversations with their Stem clinicians remain part of their personal care. Employers receive only the administrative information needed to manage the program, such as enrolment and invoicing. Any broader reporting is shared at an aggregate level, without publicly identifying individual employees or their health concerns - Employees can access care with the confidence that their health remains private.
Team membership is designed to complement existing coverage, not replace it. Your current plan remains in place, while Stem adds something it may not provide on its own: timely access to connected primary care.
Where existing coverage applies, Stem coordinates directly with the insurer. The two work seamlessly together, making the experience feel more complete for the employee.
Team membership can be especially valuable when demanding schedules make traditional appointments difficult to manage. It can support growing companies, professional services firms and leadership teams that want care to feel more personalised, accessible and considerate.
Stem works with HR to manage enrolment and offboarding. If an employee leaves the organisation, they may also choose to continue their care through an individual membership.
The value of a health benefit extends beyond the fine print of the plan. It becomes clear on a morning when an employee wakes up unwell and knows a physician is within reach. Results are followed up, referrals keep moving and no one has to navigate the next step alone. With the coordination handled, employees spend less time worrying about managing their care — and feeling guilty about stepping away from work to do it.
For an employee, that feels like being genuinely cared for. For an organisation, it means offering support that respects both the person and their time.
