Dr. Leah Markin, OD
Leads Stem’s eye health program; former Director of Pediatrics at the Vision Institute of Canada.
Dr. Markin has built her practice around pediatric and complex medical and developmental eye care, with experience that includes Holland Bloorview and a role as Director of Pediatrics at the Vision Institute of Canada. At Stem she leads the eye health program, guiding preventative and consultative care that includes OCT retinal imaging, dry-eye assessment, and visual acuity screening.
She graduated with honours from the State University of New York College of Optometry and is a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, where she serves on the Quality Assurance Committee. She provides care in English, French, and Hebrew.
